I’m Hermence, founder of uBuntuSpeaks, a global leadership and workforce development firm rooted in the South African philosophy of UBUNTU—I am because we are.
With over 20 years of experience in leadership development, cultural intelligence, and global public health, I’ve worked with international development organizations and multinational corporations around the world. My journey from rural communities to global boardrooms has taught me one powerful truth: brave leadership is not about having all the answers. It’s about creating space for others to thrive.

I have learned that in life, we grow by giving and not getting, and it is in our giving that we receive. Two of the core principles that guide my work are:
